چکیده

Objective: To compare propofol and sevoflurane anesthesia in terms of mean extubation time among patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Study Design: Randomized Controlled Trial Setting: National Hospital Medical Centre, Lahore Sampling Technique: Consecutive non-probability sampling duration: 06-02-18 to 06-08-18 Methodology: The cases with age range 16 60 years either gender ASA status 1 2 cholecystectomy were included. group A was given B standard dose they assessed for time. Results: In the present study there total 30 each group. There 14 (46.67%) males vs (53.33%) B. 40.03±13.68 while 36.83±10.64 years. Mean BMI 25.27±2.05 25.43±1.85 respectively. 19 (63.33%) class 7.16±2.80 3.68±0.87 p= 0.0001. significantly longer gender, class. Conclusion: shorter managed by Sevoflurane as compared Propofol this difference statistically significant all variables form age, Thus sevolflurane anaesthesia is superior propofol. Recovery of cognitive function after remifentanil-propofol anesthesia: a comparison with desflurane and sevoflurane anesthesia.

UNLABELLED We compared the recovery characteristics of remifentanil, desflurane, and sevoflurane when used for anesthesia in elective operative procedures. Sixty ASA physical status I and II patients, aged 18-65 yr, were randomly assigned to receive remifentanil-propofol, desflurane-N2O, or sevoflurane-N2O anesthesia. Before the induction of anesthesia, the patients of the desflurane and sevofl...
